Billy Franklin Wood

Mr.. Billy Franklin Wood, of Avinger Texas, was born August 24, 1928 in Attoyac Texas to Fairley Elonzo and Alma Mae Wood.  Mr. Wood was a retired High School Principal as well as a Marine veteran that served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam.

He is survived by his son, Will Wood and wife Gretchen of Carollton, TX, three grandchildren, Jeremy Wood, Aaron Wood, Brandon Wood, his sister, Martha Rae French of Lufkin, TX as well as numerous friends and extended family.

Preceding Mr. Wood in death are his parents, wife Gail Wood, brothers Marcel Wood, Francis Wood, Johnny Maxwell Wood and Sister Betty Jo Brookshire.
