Earl Wayne Fagg

A Memorial Service for Mr. Earl Wayne Fagg, 74, of Avinger, Texas will be held on Friday, August 2, 2019, at 10:00AM in the New Prospect Baptist Church.  Cremation under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home

Wayne was born February 4, 1945 in Jefferson, Texas to Alford Clyde Fagg and Mattie Odell Boone Fagg and he passed away on July 17, 2019 at his home.

Mr. Fagg honorably served his country in the US Army in Korean. Although proud of his military service his proudest moment was when he married the love of his life, Deanna Minton on August 8, 1970.  Earl owned his own business that he and Deanna were able to operate together. Having the opportunity to be a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather are the things that he considered to be his greatest accomplishments.

Mr. Fagg was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Winston, Doug, and David; sisters, Jean Copeland and Mill Wells.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Deanna Minton Fagg; Son, Gerald Fagg; daughter, Janet Atwood; sisters, Nita Savage and Laverne Harrist; brother, Clyde Fagg; and grandchildren, Trent Atwood and Britnee Atwood.  He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
