Graveside Services for Hazel Marie Scudday, 85, of Jefferson, Texas will be held 3:00 PM, Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Trinity Cemetery with Brother Jim Rust officiating, a time of visitation being held from 2 to 3 PM prior to the service and under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home.
Hazel Marie Scudday passed away November 2, 2018 at her home in Jefferson, Texas.
Marie was born September 28, 1933 in Miller County Arkansas to the late James and Hazel Glover and passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family November 2, 2018.
Marie married Tommy Roy Scudday on February 14, 1951 and they were blessed with over 67 years together.
She was a Past Worthy Matron of the Jefferson Chapter of Eastern Star and was a member for over 50 years. Marie was also a member of the Red Hat Club and the Jefferson Genealogy Society.
Marie was preceded in death by her son, James Everett Scudday.
Marie was fully devoted to her family as a loving wife, momma and Maw. She is survived by her husband, Tommy Roy; sons, Eddie Roy Scudday and Jesse Lance Scudday; five grandchildren, Clint Scudday, Lacie Scudday, Brandi Welborn, Dusti Scudday and Cullen Scudday; twelve great-grandchildren, River Scudday, Parke Scudday, Haley Smith, Zach Smith, Sage Scudday, Kloee Travis, Maryah Scudday, Kylar Scudday, McKenna Scudday, Avery Wellborn, Tucker Scudday and Colton Wellborn as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Dusti Scudday, Clint Scudday, Billy Whatley, Wade Kindred, Henery Peerman and Jesse Whitfield.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Trinity Cemetery Association at 1307 State Hwy 49 East, Jefferson, Texas 75657.
