A private interment for Mrs. Hazel Camps Blankenship Shelly, 86, of Lone Star, Texas was held at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Nacogdoches, Texas under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home.

Mrs. Shelly passed away at her home on April 24, 2019 in Lone Star, Texas.

Hazel was born May 5, 1932 in Tyler, Texas to Charlie C. Camps and Bissie Connett Camps. She lived in both Nacogdoches and Lone Star, Texas.

Mrs. Shelly was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Oscar C. Blankenship; her second husband, Vernon Shelly; 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Those left to cherish her memory are her nieces, Carolyn Sue Anderson and Marilyn Camps of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Vivian Grigg of Houston, Texas; Barbara and Buster Karr of Gurdon, Arkansas; nephews, Richard Shelly of Houston, Texas; Boyd and Judy Shelly of Ashdown, Arkansas as well as numerous extended family and friends.
