James Wyatt Jett

Private Memorial Services will be held at a later date for James Wyatt Jett a.k.a. “Jim”, a.k.a. “Scooter”, 60, of Lake O’ The Pines / Jefferson, Texas under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home of Jefferson, Texas.

Mr. Jett was born on May 21, 1957 to James Ralph Jett and Freeda C. Eads Jett in Borger, Texas. James passed away the morning of February 10, 2018 at his home.  James graduated from New Boston High School in 1975 and went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Air Force.  He then became a self-employed General Contractor working all over East Texas and making many friends along the way.

Mr. Jett was preceded in death by his father; sister, Mary L. Jett; and an infant daughter, Caroline.

He is survived by his sons, Samuel Jett of Austin, Texas and Zachary Jett of Arkansas; loving mother, Freeda C. Jett of Belton, Texas; sister, Susan E. Langan of Belton, Texas; niece, Joni L. Nolan of Jackson, New Jersey; and dear friend, Jay Brooks of Longview, Texas.  He is also survived by other extended family and friends.
