Memorial services for Mr. Jerry Wayne Blackshear., 76, of Jefferson, Texas will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday July 28, 2018 at Haggard Funeral Home in Jefferson, Texas.

Jerry Wayne Blackshear passed away peacefully at his home July 22, 2018 in Jefferson, Texas. Mr. Blackshear was born April 2, 1942 in Kress, Texas to R.L. Blackshear and Claudie Williams.

Mr. Blackshear was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Sharon Blackshear; brother, Teddy Blackshear; sisters, Frankie Jo Howard and Karen Conway.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sheron Blackshear; son Michael Blackshear and wife April; step-daughter, Alisha Taylor and husband Brad; sister, Shervan Murphy and husband Bill; grandchildren, Aubreigh Blackshear, Bralyn Blackshear, Gavin Taylor, Mady Taylor, Ryan Taylor as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
