Obituary
A Memorial Service for Mrs. Margaret Jean Lewis, 66, of Jefferson, TX. is scheduled for Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cpt. Wm. Perry Chapel of Haggard Funeral Home with Dr. Jeff Taylor officiating and under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lewis was born June 12, 1951 in Houston, TX. to John Sherwood Lewis III and Margaret Harmon Wood Lewis and passed away April 30, 2018 in Jefferson, TX. Margaret worked for 31 years as an Administrative Assistant for Texas Medical Center, was a Member of D.A.R. - McGraw Chapter, and a Member of the Marion County Genealogical Society.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, John Lewis.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Chris Eddins of Houston; sister, Christy Lewis Hunkle and husband Bill of Gibsonia, PA.; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers Margaret and her family ask that donations be made to First Baptist Church of Jefferson – 523 N. Polk St. Jefferson, TX 75657 or to Dixie Humane Society – P.O. Box 505 Jefferson, Texas 75657.
