Mr. Billy Roy Wray

Funeral services for Mr. Billy Roy Wray, 86, of Jefferson are scheduled for  11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 26, 2017 in the Capt. Wm. Perry Chapel of Haggard Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Markle officiating.  Interment will follow at Prospect Cemetery under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home prior to service.

Mr. Wray was born May 11, 1931 in Cass County, TX. to Ollie McGee and Lessie Lou Hamilton
Wray and passed away December 21, 2017 in Jefferson.

Mr. Wray was a member of the New Prospect Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family.

Mr. Wray is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Anna Ruth Owen Wray, son, Billy Roy Wray, Jr., two brothers, J. O. Wray and Davis Wray, two sisters, Gladys Martin and Marie Thomas.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Billy Marcus Wray & Marsye of Mena, AR., Vickie Smith & Bobby of Jefferson, sister, Frances Sellers of Jefferson, grandchildren, Robert Smith & Shannon, Michael Smith  & Tracy, Amanda Peavy & Jimmy, Jason Wray & Heidi, nine great grandchildren, Kaylie, Kameron, Andrew, Trace, Sarah, Elijah, Carlie Jo, Adian and Bailee.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to New Prospect Cemetery Association, 5841 N. US Hwy. 59, Jefferson, TX. 75657.
