Memorial services for Mr. Robert Dean Simpson, Sr.,77, of Avinger, TX. will be held at a later date with arrangements made under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home of Jefferson, TX

Mr. Simpson was born June 30, 1940 in Oklahoma and passed away April 26, 2018 In Jefferson, TX.

Mr. Simpson was retired from the United States Navy after 24 years. He was a friend to all and enjoyed listening to people. He loved country music.

Mr. Simpson is preceded in death by his parents, son Robert Simpson, Jr. and two brothers.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children Tamra McManus & C. B. of Avinger, Kendra Mathis of Fresno, CA., Virginia Tillery of Porterville, CA., sister, Doris Simpson of Fresno, CA., brother Jack Simpson of Arizona, grandchildren, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
