Ouida Ramsey Allen

Graveside services for Mrs. Ouida Ramsey Allen, 96, of Jefferson, Texas will be held at 2:00 P.M.  Friday August 31, 2018 at Prospect Cemetery in Jefferson, Texas with Pastor Jackie Stanfield officiating. Visitation is scheduled for 6-8 P.M. Thursday August 30, 2018 at Haggard Funeral Home in Jefferson. Interment will follow at Prospect Cemetery under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home.

Mrs. Allen passed away peacefully on August 28, 2018 in Jefferson, Texas.  Mrs. Allen was born November 22, 1921 in Jefferson, TX. to Mr. Walter and Ruby Grubbs Maxwell.

Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Hailey Ramsey and second husband Eugene Allen, son, James Walter Ramsey, brothers; Clayton, Othel and Everett Maxwell, sisters; Mildred Don Carlos, Cecil Knight and Mozel Woodall.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, William Charles (Bill) Ramsey, Jack Hailey Ramsey & wife Dianne, Tina Ramsey, grandchildren; William Hailey (Billy) Ramsey, Kellie & Randy Anthony, Christy & Michael Burleson, William “Trapper” & Chasity Ramsey, Ginger Ramsey, Jacquelyn & Ray Maxwell, James Walter “Rusty” Ramsey, and Joyce & Matt Rutz, fifteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Pallbearers include; Bill Ramsey, Michael Burleson, Lane Burleson, Matt Rutz, Trapper Ramsey, Rusty Ramsey and Randy Anthony.
