Mr. Quada was so very nice to my mother in her remaining years and she appreciated his friendship and attention. So do I. He never failed to speak of her when we met at the store and I really looked forward to his pecans when they were for sale..... a good, solid man.

Scott and his family were neighbors of mine in the Hampton Addition for 20+ years until I moved to Center, Texas in 2010. He was as fine a person as I have ever known and will be greatly missed. The family is in our prayers.

Cynthia, Sheila, Cheryl, and Don: Your dad was such a special person to us at the office for so many years. Week before last week he came in and asked "what is this pill?" He had been to see us several times in the last few weeks. He came in with the "Pentecostal peanut brittle" and his pecans, and sometimes just to chat. Christmas just wasn't the same this year without our visit from Ms. Dorothy. We share your grief, as we are going to miss him terribly, as we have your mom. We know they are united once again in Heaven, and if there are any pecan trees up there, we know where your dad will spend a lot of his time! Love and prayers for all of you!!!

I am very sorry to read of the loss of, Mr. Quada. He was a very faithful and dedicated man, married for 66 years! I won't pretend to know what you're going through, but what has helped me deal with the loss of those I love, is turning to the Scriptures, something that has been a real source of comfort. One Scripture that gives me hope is, John 11:25, which says, "Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life." I hope that this verse will also comfort you and, I hope you and your family can get through this difficult time. Please accept my condolences for the loss of your beloved father, grandpa and friend.
