Barbara Gail Creel Williams

Memorial services for Barbara Gail Creel Williams,67 of Jefferson, Texas will be held Sunday, August 18, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Jefferson Academy Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Gene Clapp officiating.

Barbara was born in Aurora, Illinois on May 28, 1957, to Virgil and Ethel Creel and went to sleep in Jesus on August 11, 2024.

At the age of five, Barbara’s parents moved her to Berea, Texas where she attended school for the next twelve years. She then studied nursing at Southern University in Tennessee. Barbara had a passion for souls that all could come to know our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She also had a passion for music and played the organ, piano, and sang boldly for her Lord. She worked hard for those in the prison system by grading lessons and working diligently for Texas Amazing Bible School. She had a fire in her heart for all who could be reached and fortified in the word of God. Her love for Jesus was immeasurable.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Connie Bobo; grandchildren, Micha Raeann Lummis, Lilianna Boaze; stepdaughter, Tasha Greenhill.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 18 years, Randy Williams of Jefferson, Texas; stepdaughters, Stephanie Lummis and husband Jeff, Rebecca DeVasier and husband Tommy, Gabby Boaze with husband Justin; stepsons, Gerald Williams and wife Sarah, Gabriel Navarro and wife Kassie; sisters, Josephine Leverts and husband Martin, Sharline Greenhill; grandchildren, Colton Quillin and wife Ashton, Wesley Quillin, Reagan Patrick and husband Zack, Kirby Wright, Meridith DeVasier, Adelyn, Timothy and Gabriella Boaze, Jace, Ravae and Xavier Navarro; great grandchildren,  Wiley Patrick, Kohen Brooks DeVasier, Liam Quillin; very best friend, Rhonda Tyson whom she loved only second to Jesus. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
