Private Graveside services for Bill George “Holly” Hollingsworth, Jr. 74, of Jefferson, Texas were held under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home.

Bill was born in Houston, Texas on October 6, 1948, to Bill George Hollingsworth, Sr. and Marie Carol Rasch Hollingsworth and passed away on August 18, 2023, in Shreveport, Louisiana.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife Sandra Jean Whatley Hollingsworth; sister, Carol Fairman; sister-in-law, Norma Lee Reyna; and a dear friend, Pharris Presley and wife Mary. Bill never had any children but was married prior to Sandra. His previous wife’s name was Tommie Blackstock and she had three wonderful children that Bill adored. Stepdaughter, Gayle Smith and husband Tommy; stepsons, Lloyd Blackstock and wife Sherri, and Virgil Blackstock and wife Dorsey. He is also survived by numerous step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
