Billie Sue (Samples) Pogue

Billie Sue Samples Pogue was born on October 10, 1937, in Dallas, Texas to Luther and Thelma Samples. She passed away peacefully on September 27, 2024 in Jefferson, Texas. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will forever be in the hearts of those who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother; Carl Samples, and sister; Patsy Waller.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Paula Krist and husband Rick, Donna Brown and husband Jim, Stephen Pogue, and Karen Long Jenkins and husband Rick.  Her grandchildren Joseph Long and his wife Kati, Timothy Brown and his wife Rylie, and Christopher Brown. Her great-grandchildren Karly Long, Kera Long, and Jacob Long. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

A Celebration of Life service is being planned at Bethel Hill Assembly of God in Dallas, Texas and the date is to be announced soon.
