Memorial Services for Mr. Billy James LaForge, 90, of Jefferson, Texas will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 2:00PM in the Cpt. Wm. Perry Chapel with Bro. Rodney LaForge officiating and under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home

Billy was born on July 20, 1933, in Oakgrove, Louisiana to Lewis LaForge and Ruth Hill LaForge and passed away on January 15, 2024.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 56 years, Maudie Stacey LaForge; four brothers; and three sisters.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, James Dean LaForge, Debbie LaForge Thomas and husband Robert, Billy LaForge and wife Dottie, James Lewis LaForge, and Patricia LaForge; brother, Rodney LaForge and wife Evelyn; sisters, Willie Brown and husband jerry, Mary Myers, and Gussie LaForge; grandchildren, Tiffani Thomas, Heather Hernandez and husband Marcos, Daniel LaForge, Halie Overstreet, Joshua Putman, Jennifer LaForge, Faith LaForge, Erica Nix and husband David, Madison Putman, Monica Brownlee and husband Keith, David Hale and wife Angie. He is also survived by twenty-one great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
