Bobby Joe Lindsey

Memorial services for Bobby Joe Lindsey, 81, of Jefferson, Texas will be held Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at 1pm in the Jefferson Academy Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Gene Clapp officiating. 

Bobby was born March 28, 1942, in Kirbyville, Texas to Herbert Loren Lindsey and Evelyn O'Brien Lindsey.

He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and served as a deacon for many years. He worked most of his life as a master plumber then in later years as a maintenance man at Jefferson Christian Academy.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents; Herbert and Evelyn Lindsey, sister; Celia Lindsey and brother; Gene Lindsey.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Deborah Lindsey, children; Susie Powell and husband Bob, Jason Bales, Joy Hopps and husband Jim, Jessica Morgan, and Jared Bales and wife Carol, brothers; Ronnie Lindsey and wife Stephanie, Alvin Lindsey and wife Sue, and sister-in-law; Becky Lindsey, grandchildren; Meagan Walker and husband James, April Blackshear, Addison Powell, Emmaline Bales, Evan Hopps,  Emerson Hopps, Maxwell Hopps, Addison Morgan, Liam Morgan, and Grace Bales, great granddaughter; Remington Walker.
