Bruce Teske of Longview, Tx, passed away Friday, December 19, 2025, at 87 years of age. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 2PM at the Capt. Wm Perry Chapel of Haggard Funeral Home in Jefferson with Rev. Mark Crimm officiating and under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 1pm under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home of Jefferson, TX. Internment will be held at Oakwood Cemetery in Jefferson.
He was born on March 9,1938, in Mitchell, South Dakota, the son of William and Madge Teske. He was an entrepreneur with a wide range of interests. Those interests led him to own businesses in steel fabrication as well as Real Estate, Custom Home Building, and Financial Advising. Also, in his later years, his love of woodworking allowed him to be instrumental in the renovation and restoration of the historical Schluter House in Jefferson, Texas which he enjoyed.
He is proceeded in death by wife, Charlotte Teske; sister, Betty Teske; son, Glen Teske; and stepson, Dee McCorkle.
Bruce is survived by his sons, Kevin Teske and Kerry Teske, of Longview, Tx; stepdaughter, Amanda Powers and husband David of White Oak, Texas; stepson, James Carter of Iowa Park, Tx; stepdaughter-in-law, Kelly McCorkle of White Oak, Tx; step grandsons, Christopher Perkins (Courtney Shuler) of Gilmer, Tx and Jesse McCorkle of White Oak, Tx.
