She lived in a group home in Tyler from 1994 to 2018. She attended port Neches groves ISD and graduated in 1994. Her favorite event was to participate in special Olympics. To see her face light up with joy as the ribbons and awards were given to her was priceless. Most awards were from basketball. She was loved and will be remembered by all those who knew her. She always sang Jesus loves me even if she had to interrupt the service to do so. Candace is a member of Maud Church of God of Prophecy 388 Houston Street, Maud, Texas 75567.
