Celeste Bostic McDaniel was born January 9, 1937 in Huntington, West Virginia to Arnold and Pearl Bostic. She was the youngest of 6. She met her husband John Thomas McDaniel, who she called Mack, and they married on November 8, 1954. JT always said that he saw Celeste running through a pasture in West Virginia and he thought she was the prettiest thing he had ever seen. They traveled to many states as he worked the pipelines but ended up making their home in East Texas. They started a logging company, and she was the secretary for that business. She was able to raise her two boys and be a homemaker because of the success of the business. Celeste loved her two boys Tracy and John. They joined their dad in the family business which made her proud. Celeste was blessed with 3 grandkids which she adored. Over the years she was blessed with 9 great grandkids that kept her busy. She was devoted to her family and made sure everyone’s needs were met.

Celeste had a deep love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She also loved to travel and went to Israel and Jerusalem on many occasions. She enjoyed cooking home cooked meals but her true love was shopping. She was notorious for ordering items from QVC and the Home Shopping Network. She was well known for her fashion sense. She was the matriarch of the family and her strong personality will be missed.

Pallbearers: Michael Smith, Mickie Busby, Aaron McDaniel, Trace Smith, JT McDaniel, and Case Busby.
