Charles Wayne Duncan

Funeral Services for Mr. Charles Wayne Duncan, age 70, of Linden, TX., will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 2:00 pm at The Capt. Wm. Perry Chapel of Haggard Funeral Home with Reverend Judson Strawbridge officiating under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home. A time of visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday December 21, 2020 at the Capt. Wm. Perry Chapel of Haggard Funeral Home.

Mr. Wayne Duncan was born March 20, 1950 in Linden, Texas to Hershel Duncan and Meadar Barnes Duncan and passed away in Atlanta, Texas on December 18, 2020.

Wayne loved the outdoors and fishing. He was a very easy-going man that was liked by everyone that had the opportunity to meet him. Wayne worked for Blackburn Syrup for over 30 years before retiring.

Mr. Duncan was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Angel Duncan; brothers, Harold Duncan, Thomas Duncan, Bill Duncan and Lewis Duncan.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Reverend Judson Strawbridge and wife Susan of Marlan, Texas; daughter Tina Coyne and husband Clint of Jefferson, Texas; son, Harold Duncan and wife Savannah of Marshall, Texas; sister, Janette Harvey of Jefferson; sister, Janelle Vanhouten of Jefferson, sister, Maggie Highsmith of Nacogdoches; brother, Gene Duncan of Linden; grandchildren, Kylie Duncan, Lincoln Duncan, Jordan Strawbridge, Tatum Strawbridge, Chloe Strawbridge, Payton Strawbridge, Madi Coyne as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
