Graveside Inurnment for Dale Gene Spangrud, 75, of Avinger, Texas will be held on December 16, 2021 at 9:45a.m. in Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas with Military Honors.

Dale Gene Spangrud, Sr. was born July 5, 1946, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Ludvig Spangrud and Bernice Fischer and passed away on November 15, 2021, in Avinger, Texas.

Mr. Spangrud was a Vietnam veteran who honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corp.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Boyd and Dennis Spangrud, and sister, Lillian Quigley.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Dale Gene Spangrud, Jr., and David Christopher Spangrud. Grandchildren, Bryan and Martina Spangrud and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
