David "Dave" Waterstraat

David “Dave” Glenn Waterstraat, 64, died unexpectedly in his home in Texas on September 22, 2022.  He was born June 14, 1958, in Canandaigua, New York to Donald and Gertrude Waterstraat.

Dave loved to cook, woodworking, gardening, collecting coins, fishing, and loved to snowmobile when he lived in New York, but most of all he loved to spend time with his friends and family.

He was predeceased by his parents.

Surviving is his loving wife, Debbie; children, Amy and husband Trent Findley of Marshall, Texas, and Beth and husband Shane Loncosky of Spring, Texas; stepchildren, Craig and Jessica Ploof of Stanley, New York, and Jason and Heather Falkey of Middlesex, New York; brothers John and Sissy Waterstraat of Jefferson, Texas, and Michael and Andrea Pettinato of Rochester, New York, and brother-in-law Richard Ploof of Rush, New York.  Grandchildren, Ryan Ploof, Mason Waterstraat, Aiden Falkey, Archer Loncosky, Bryan Falkey, Finley Loncosky, Kinley Findley, River Findley, Noah Beck Ploof, and Grace Beck Ploof. Nephews, Logan and wife Samantha Paeth and Taylor Pettinato; stepmother, Frieda “Waterstraat” Smith, and stepbrother Phil Pettinato of New York State.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
