Debra Jean Brown

Funeral Services for Debra Jean Brown, age 67, of Pollok, TX., will be held on Monday, August 4, 2025, at 10:00 am in the Cpt. Wm. Perry Chapel of Haggard Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Crimm officiating and under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home.

Debra Jean Brown, the special-needs daughter of Frank and Jane Brown, passed away on July 31, 2025. Debra was born in Shreveport, La on August 24, 1957.

For the past 60 years, Debra has lived in several assisted living facilities across Louisiana and Texas. The last eight years she resided at Lufkin State Assisted Living Facility in Lufkin, Texas until the time of her passing.

She enjoyed visiting with family especially her mother, Jane Brown. Her favorite thing to do was to drive through McDonalds with her mom for a burger and a coke.

Surviving family is her sister, Diana Brown Mull of Tyler, Texas and her brother, Ken Brown of Swan, Texas.

The family would like to express gratitude to the caregivers, medical personnel and staff of Lufkin State Assisted Living Facility for taking such wonderful care of Debbie the last eight years.
