Funeral services for Delores Hopper Morris, 89, of Jefferson are scheduled for Friday, February 22, 2019 at 2 PM in the Cpt. Wm. Perry Chapel of Haggard Funeral Home with Bishop Alexander Keith officiating. A time of visitation is scheduled from 1 to 2 PM prior to the service.

Mrs. Morris passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 in Jefferson and was born March 15, 1929 in San Jon, New Mexico to Carroll Walter Hopper and Rose Juliann Pearson Hopper.

Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Henry and Karl Morris; two brothers and a sister.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Dawna Ritter of Jefferson; sister, Gretchen Brashear of New Mexico; brother, Harry Van Hopper of Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
