Dennis Ray Noegel, Sr.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Dennis Ray Noegel, Sr., 73, of Jefferson, Texas on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at 11AM in the Cpt. Wm. Perry Chapel of Haggard Funeral Home of Haggard Funeral Home.

Mr. Noegel was born on June 30, 1947 in Rockford, Illinois to Ernest Phillip Noegel and Faye Marie Dittman Noegel and he passed away on September 11, 2020 in Tyler, Texas.

Dennis graduated from Auburn High School in Rockford, Illinois and then went on to proudly and honorably serve his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Dennis enjoyed fishing and loved his family. Dennis was also a member of The North Shore Baptist Church in Avinger, Texas.

Mr. Noegel was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Beverly Lilja; and daughter-in-law, Michelle Noegel.

Those left to cherish his memory are his Children; Dennis Noegel, II & Tanya of Canton, GA., Becky Giesecke & Tom of Poplar Grove, IL., and Phillip Noegel of Freeport, IL.; Step-Mother, Dottie “Ma” Noegel; Brothers; Dan Noegel, Gary Noegel & Jana, and Dennis Noegel & Linda; Sisters; Gin Johansson & Russ, Dorie Noegel, and Michelle Marlow; Grandchildren; A.J. Noegel, Tylor Noegel, Johnathon Giesecke, and Abby Giesecke; close friends, Dennis and Sharon Moen.  He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
