Edith DeLong

Graveside Services for Mrs. Edith DeLong, age 86, of Jefferson, TX, will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at 10:00 am at Berea Cemetery with Pastor John Taylor officiating under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home.

Mrs. Edith DeLong was born December 25, 1933 in Marshall, Texas to Clyde Greenhill and Oleta Parson Greenhill and passed away in Jefferson, Texas on September 24, 2020.

Mrs. DeLong was a member of the Jefferson Academy SDA Church and absolutely loved spending time with her friends and family.

Mrs. DeLong was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Audrey, Juanita and Robert.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Rodney DeLong and wife Jeanene of Aledo, Texas; son, Allan Delong and wife Sharon of Austin, Texas; son, Keith DeLong and wife Missy of Jefferson, Texas; son, Greg DeLong of Jackson, Wyoming; grandchildren, Lauren DeLong, Madison DeLong, Haley DeLong; great-grandchildren, James DeLong Thorpe, Jayse Gober, Emerson Hearns as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cypress Bend Adventist Elementary at 2997 FM 728, Jefferson, Texas 75657.
