Edwina Henderson

Funeral Services for Edwina Henderson, 80, of Jefferson, Texas will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 2:00pm in the Cpt. Wm. Perry Chapel of Haggard Funeral Home with Rev. Seth Buckner officiating and under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home. Internment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Jefferson, Texas. A time of visitation will be held from 2:00pm to 4:00pm on Sunday December 20, 2025, in the Cpt. Wm. Perry Chapel of Haggard Funeral Home.

Mrs. Henderson was born on July 23, 1945, in Atlanta, Texas to Nathan McDow and Margaret Olive McDow and passed away on December 17, 2025, in Marshall, Texas.

She was a devoted member of Heritage Baptist Church and a licensed vocational nurse who dedicated 50 years to her profession. Throughout her career, Edwina served in various doctors' offices, clinics, and home health settings. She concluded her career with 20 years of service at Jefferson Life Center before retiring.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, David N. Henderson.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Selina Davis and husband Tommy, John David Henderson and wife Toni; sister, Patsy Gage; grandchildren, Gary Davis, Steven Davis, David Davis, Amanda Henderson, Michael Collard, Christopher Collard, Bo Hill, John Hill; 15 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; niece, Shannon Ebarb. She is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will include Gary Davis, Steven Davis, David Davis, Michael Collard, Christopher Collard, and Lucas Navarette.

Honorary pallbearers are Byron Waldrop and Trent Gale.
