Eric Day

Funeral Services for Eric Day, a loving and devoted father aged 46, of Jefferson, TX are scheduled for Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 2pm in the Cpt. Wm. Perry Chapel of Haggard Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Adams officiating and under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

Eric Day was born on April 8, 1977, in Grand Prairie, TX to Wendell Ray Day and Joy Elaine Dennis Day and passed away on Friday March 22,2024.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Herschel Dennis and wife Pearl; paternal grandparents, Owen Hartzo and wife Betty; and uncle, Michael Day.

Those left to cherish his memories are his parents, Wendell Day and wife Joy; children, Seth Day, Connor William Day and girlfriend Emily Hill; sisters, Amy Day, Sarah Collins and husband Ken; nieces and nephews, Ashlee Altes, Logan Altes, and Jadon Collins. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Elgin Morris, Colton Morris, Justice Morris, Scott Riddle, Ken Collins, and Jadon Collins.

Memorials can be made to Shriners Scottish Rite Hospital, 2222 Welborn St. Dallas, TX 75219.
