Eugene Otis Henderson

Graveside Services are planned for Mr. Eugene Otis Henderson, 82, of Jefferson, Texas, 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 9, 2021, in the Berea Cemetery, FM 728, Jefferson, TX., with Pastors; John Taylor and  Gene Clapp officiating.

Mr. Henderson was born September 5, 1938 in Keene, Texas to Otis Henderson and Anna Jones Henderson, and passed away February 6, 2021 in Longview. Mr. Henderson had lived in this area since 1962. He had worked and retired from Titus Regional Hospital and worked in area hospitals in lab and x-ray for 44 years. He was a member of the International Clinical Laboratories and attended Jefferson Academy Seventh-day Adventist Church. He graduated from Keene Adventist Academy and went to college at Madison Adventist College in Nashville, TN.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents, Otis Henderson and Anna Henderson, daughter, Rhonda  Henderson. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Ila Henderson, children;, Jeff Henderson, Carla & James Martin,  Dana & Chad Kestler, Jimmy and Tabitha Sharp, Richard and Tammy Sharp and Jason Sharp, grandchildren; Jeremy Henderson, Ashley Henderson, Caleb Henderson, Addison Henderson, Abigail Sharp, Emma Sharp, Caitlin Sharp,  Teri and Max Abrajan, Chloe Hubbard, Jamie Martin and  Jeremy Martin. 5 great grandchildren, sister, Shirley Ann Clayton, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Honorary pallbearers will be, Jeremy Henderson, Caleb Henderson, David Clayton, Max Abrajan, and Juan Abrajan.
