George "Wade" Kindred

Graveside Services for Mr. George “Wade” Kindred, 86, of Jefferson will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Trinity Cemetery with Bro. John Sullens and Bro. Terry Douglas officiating under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home of Jefferson.

George “Wade” Kindred was born February 17, 1934 in Jefferson TX. to George Dewey Kindred and Blanche Brooks Kindred. He passed away June 11, 2020 at his home in Jefferson.  

Mr. Kindred thought family was most important to him but he also enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.  He also loved having coffee with his cousins.  He retired from  Ford Motor Co. after thirty-four years.

Mr. Kindred is survived by his wife, Betty Kindred, children, Ricky Kindred and Tamara Johnson, grandchildren; Victor Johnson, Vance Johnson, Victoria Slack and Blaine, Ryan Kindred and Emily, Jaden Kindred and five great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Eunice Froeschl and brother, Larry Kindred.

Pallbearers are Blaine Slack, Harold Brooks, Johnny Paul Brooks, Joe Link, Phil Scott and Tommy Roy Scudday.
