Memorial Services for Georgia Baker Dowden (Case), 69, of Avinger, Texas. will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 2pm in the Cpt. Wm. Perry Chapel of Haggard Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Caffey and under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home.

Georgia was born on August 19, 1953, in Longview, Texas to William and Wanda Baker and passed away on December 3, 2022, in Avinger, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents; First husband, Jeffery Mark Dowden; Sisters, Florence Freeman, Dale Holeman; Great Nephew, Braidan Smeltzer.

Those left to cherish her memory are her Husband, Donnie Gregg Case; Daughter, Desiree Wood and husband Michael; Sisters, Sherry Chastain and husband Mike, Billie Smeltzer and husband Gene, Penny Bozell; Grandchildren, Jayce Dowden, Kane Wood, and Kaidence Wood. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
