Hector Garza

Funeral Services for Hector Garza, 71 of Karnack, Texas will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 11:00am at the Faith Tabernacle of Jefferson, Texas with Rev. Kerry Green and Rev. Calvin Lawson officiating and under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home. A time of visitation will be held on Friday January 17, 2025, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the Cpt. Wm. Perry Chapel of Haggard Funeral Home.

Mr. Garza was born on March 31, 1953, in Texas City, Texas to Santos Garza, Jr. and Isaura Balderas Garza and passed away on January 10, 2025, in Louisiana.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Eva Noyola, and father-in-law, Jimmy German.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Penny Garza; children, Garie Wagner, David Garza and fiancé Naomi, Christina Garza and fiancé Chris Emery; siblings, Patricia Perez and husband Jesse, Elizabeth Dodson and husband Randy; mother-in-law, Tillie German; grandchildren, Johnathan Garza, Michael Wagner, Emmalee Wagner, Joshua Garza, Ellie Bacot, Christopher Emery, Rayia Emery, and Harper Emery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Garie Wagner, Michael Wagner, David Garza, Johnathan Garza, and Joshua Garza.

Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Dodson and Jesse Perez.
