Helen Lane was born on May 14, 1931 in Okemah, Oklahoma to Amos Jackson West and Ruby Reece. She passed away on July 4, 2022.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Lane; parents; Son, Robert Gerald Hauss; Brothers, Willard, Bill, David, Charles, and Bobby West; Sisters, Maxine Gannaway and Bernice West; and great grandsons, Shawn, Robert and Aaron Vaughn.

She is survived by her children, David Hauss and wife Beverly of Georgia and Sandra Vaimagalo of California; brother, Jack West; sister, Betty Baugh of Kentucky; grandchildren, Danielle Widman and husband Aaron of Texas, April Hauss of Georgia, Esther Hauss of Minnesota, Eve Cooper and husband Samuel of Alaska, Elisabeth Waldrep and husband Thomas of Alabama, Erica Hauss and husband Jeffery Vaughn of Florida, and Rebecca Meade of Virginia. Helen is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
