Hobart Rutherford "Rudd" Key

Funeral services for Hobart Rutherford “Rudd” Key, 68, of Jefferson are scheduled for Friday, April 20, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Capt. Wm. Perry Chapel of Haggard Funeral Home with Father David F. K. Puckett officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Marshall, Texas at 2:45 p.m.  under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home. Visitation is from 5-7 p.m. Thursday April 19, 2018 at Haggard Funeral Home.

Mr. Key was born August 1, 1949 in Ft. Worth, TX.  to David Rutherford and Carolyn Ann Swann Key and passed away April 16, 2018 at his home in Jefferson.

Mr. Key is preceded in death by his parents.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Evelyn Tims Key, children; Carolyn Ann Key, Steven Garrett Key, step-son Steven Ray Whatley & wife Mirna Whatley, step-daughter, Victoria Whatley Coats & husband James Morris Coats, step mother Frances Aimer Rounds & husband James Edwin Rounds, sisters; Swann Key Wicker & husband Luther Wicker and Amy Key Keith & husband Frederick William Keith III, grandchildren; Devin Nathanael Key, Jonathan McKay Whatley, Nathanael James Coats, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Pallbearers include; Luke Wicker, Michael Wicker, Albert Key, Steven Whatley, James Coats, Clete Weiser and Ralph Holloway.
