Jasmine Nicole Griffin

A Celebration of Life for Jasmine Nicole Griffin, 25, of Hughes Springs, Texas will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 2pm at 1852 on Austin under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home.

Jasmine was born on November 14, 1997, in Beaumont, Texas to Jason King and Jessica Leann McDonald and passed away on Monday July 3, 2023.

Jasmine was known by all to be cheerful, dependable, and helpful to all.  She had a contagious smile, loved to laugh, and had a great sense of humor.  Jasmine has left a void for so many because she was everyone’s rock.  She truly touched all those that she met and will be greatly missed.  Jasmine always said, “If I die, don’t cry, throw a party.”

She was met in Heaven by her father, Jason King; white dad, Phillip O’Neal; grandparents, Reginald and Diann McDonald.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Jessica McDonald and significant other Kevin Gilmore; siblings, Robin Shirley and husband Josh, Michael Griffin and wife Whitney, Cassity Cleveland, Jeremy Cleveland, Brandon Lofton and wife Jessica, and Jason Washington; nephews, Brantley Shirley, Wyatt Shirley, and Myles Griffin; nieces, Abella Griffin and Winter McDonald; and aunt, Barbie McDonald. She is also survived by numerous other extended family and friends.
