Ms. Moore was born on August 18, 1944 and went to be with The Lord on August 7, 2021 – 11 days before her 77th birthday.

She was born to Ernestine Pitman in Houston, Texas but she left the hospital with her adoptive parents, her mama and daddy, William and Annie Kowis when she was approximately 8 hours old.

She had 6 biological siblings, Jackie, Don, Richard, Duane, David and Kelly.

She met the love of her life, John L. Moore and married him on June 5, 1964.  They were married for 35 years until his passing on March 23, 2000.  They were both baptized in 1970 and lived for the Lord.

She had three children that she gave birth to:  Kevin (wife Jenny), Sissy (husband Ronald), and John, Jr. (wife Cindy).

She also had bonus children that she loved as her own too:  Tim (wife Darlene), Joe (wife Cindy), Aletha (husband Ricky) and Neta.

Special children that preceded her in death were Sheila, Glenda, Shirley, Teresa and John David.

She had 26 grandchildren:  Ashley, Natalie, Misty (Steven), RJ (Breann), Jonathan (Jessica), Brittany (Myles), Justin (Tarya), Jake (Kendall), Katie (Brycen), Jodi, Crystal (Bryan), Jesse (Brianna), Myranda, Clint (Kerrie), Corey (Karen), Kimberly, Billy Jack (Jennifer), Elizabeth/Sissy (Doug), April, Colton/Bubba, Crystal, Lorie (Brandon), Misty, Joe Lee, Tonya and Michael.

Some of her great grandchildren that she loved spending time with and even face timing with were: Reaghan, Gannon, Charlotte, Jordan, McKenzie, Lainey, Lakely, Carter, Brooklyn, Jase, Tenley and she was so looking forward to holding her new and youngest, Kimberley.

She was blessed with so many more great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by her two brothers in laws Larry Moore and his wife Ann and Kenneth Moore, and her sister-in-law Susan Bittick and her husband Guy. Her very special best friend that she loved to garden and shop with or catch up on their soap operas with, Ms. Charlie Knott.

She loved working in her yard and loved any kind of flowers.  Playing cards was an enjoyment to her as well, preferably at the casino!  She loved music and boy could she dance!!  She could pretty much tell you when any NCIS, crime show, dateline or murder mystery shows that were going to come on.  She could have probably solved most of the mysteries for the producers of the show too!!  She was a true American and loved being a part of the VFW in Pearland.  She was even the president of the women’s Auxiliary and was honored to hold that title!

But again, her greatest passion was her kids, grand kids and great grands.  She always wanted to be involved with them in some way and loved them all unconditionally.
