Louis Stangle, Sr.

Funeral Services for Louis Stangle, Sr. 82, of Avinger, Texas will be held on Thursday July 13, 2023, at 2pm in the Cpt. Wm. Perry Chapel of Haggard Funeral Home with Bro. John Givens officiating and under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home. There will be a time of visitation from 1 to 2pm prior to the service. Due to the heat, the committal will occur in the chapel and there will be no graveside services.

Louis Stangle was born on October 05, 1940, in St. Francisville, Illinois to Richard and Mary Stangle and passed away July 9, 2023.

Louis is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Carolyn Freeman; grandson, Reed Anderson.

He is survived by his wife, Bernice Slatter Stangle; children, Ronny Anderson and wife Cindy, Tina Berger, Linda Roberts and husband Tim, Rita Stangle, Rona Seago, Raymond Anderson and wife Kim, and Louis Stangle, Jr. and wife Kristyn along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Nick Anderson, Joseph Anderson, Scott Anderson, and Josh Anderson.
