Mary Earnestine (O'Farrell) Wardlaw

A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Mary Earnestine Wardlaw, 80, of Avinger, Texas will be held at 3188 FM 1969, Avinger, Texas on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 10:00 a.m.   The graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Harmony Grove Cemetery, Texarkana, Arkansas.

Mrs. Wardlaw was born on September 22, 1941, in Texarkana, Texas to Earnest Franklin O’Farrell and Gertrude Lamae Parker O’Farrell.  Mary passed away on August 29, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She loved horses and barrel racing but most of all, she loved her family.

Mrs. Wardlaw was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Roy Burt Wardlaw and Charles Edward Wardlaw; and two sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, James Terrell Wardlaw, Sr.; children, James Terrell Wardlaw, Jr., Sue Lamon & husband Art, and Cindy Wardlaw; and grandchildren, Brian Phelps, and Carmen Phelps.  She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
