Memorial Services for Michael Ray Williams, 49, of Jefferson, Texas will be held at a later date under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home
Michael R. Williams passed away on December 28, 2023, at home, three days from his 50th birthday.
Michael was born December 31, 1973, to David and Reba Davis Williams in Big Springs, Texas. As a youth, Michael was a competitive skeet shooter. He graduated from Hirshi High School in Wichita Falls, Texas. He served in the Airforce. He attended college at East field in Mesquite, Texas and went into Law Enforcement. He began his career in Lavon where he met his best friend Jason Rippey and ended his career in Marion County. Michael was an avid fisherman and loved cooking. Michael was loved deeply not only by his family, but also by his community he served here in Marion County. He will be tremendously missed by all those who loved him.
Michael is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Shirley Davis and Emma Thwig and by his older brother, John Williams.
He is survived by his wife Tracy Williams; sons, Zachary and Reid; daughter, Zoey ;mother, Reba Williams; Grandaddy, David Thwig. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and his best friend Jason Rippey.
