Funeral services for Mrs. Opal Harrell, 88, of Jefferson, Texas will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at the Capt. Wm. Perry Chapel of Haggard Funeral Home in Jefferson, Texas. A private entombment will take place in Corpus Christi, Texas at Memory Gardens Cemetery on a later date.

Mrs. Harrell was born August 23, 1932 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Jack and Bertha Hilburn and passed away on March 25, 2021 in Jefferson, Texas.

Mrs. Harrell was preceded in death her parents, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

Mrs. Harrell was a retired Navy Veteran, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family and friends.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Daniel Harrell and wife Dana of Northridge, California; son, Edward Harrell and wife Lynnae of Sherman, Texas; son, Steven Harrell and wife Teresa of Jefferson, Texas; 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
