Orval Lee Johnson

Memorial services for Orval Lee Johnson, 71 of Ore City will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at 11:00am at the Cedar Springs Baptist Church in Ore City, Texas.

He was born on March 20, 1953, in Gilmer, Texas to Oscar Ross Johnson and Melba Lee Hanes Johnson and passed away on Wednesday March 20, 2024, at his residence in Ore City, Texas.

Orval was an over the road Truck Driver for over 50 years. He likes to say that he has been to all 49 states but couldn’t figure out how to drive to Hawaii. Some of his favorite hobbies were growing tropical fish and he loved his model railroads.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Those left to cherish his memories are his beloved wife, Elaine Johnson; stepsons, George and John Craig; brother, Larry Johnson and wife Julie; sister, Doris Jane Johnson; nephew, Anthony Johnson; nieces, Jennifer Johnson and Heather Harrison. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
