Patti Renee Huntington Wallace, beloved mother, wife and friend, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2024, in Longview, TX after a brief battle with cancer. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will forever radiate in the hearts of those who knew her.

Patti was born in Jefferson, Texas on August 17, 1964, to Clayton and Edna Earl Huntington. She graduated from Jefferson High School, class of 1982. On March 29, 1986, she married TJ Wallace, and together they built a beautiful life, welcoming two cherished children, Morgan and Caleb. Patti’s greatest joy was being a mom, her nurturing heart and support shaping the lives of her children in profound ways.

She had a green thumb anyone would be jealous of and spent many weekends working in her and her daughter’s flowerbeds. A true animal lover, Patti had the ability to connect with any animal that crossed her path. Her trunk was often stocked with cat and dog food, ready to care for anything that needed it. Patti took great pride in making birthdays special for her family, decorating and preparing a special homemade cake for each person. She knew how to make anyone feel like the most important person in the room, it was a gift she had.

She also had a passion for her work. She started at Circle H Feed Store, followed by Myers Hardware, Bradley Printing, and lastly Linebarger, Goggan, Sampson and Blair Law Firm working out of the Marion County Tax Office.

Patti is preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Edna Earl Huntington; brother, Shane Huntington; aunt, Lois Smith, uncle W.C. Whitfield and sister-in-law Linda Huntington. Although she will be missed here, we know she is celebrating with loved ones in heaven.

Left to cherish her memory are Patti’s husband, TJ Wallace; daughter Morgan Mars (husband John Brent Jr.); son Caleb Wallace; brother Clay “Budd” Huntington; sister Peggy Rosas (husband Tino); sisters-in-law Joy Fisher and Wendy Wallace; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

Patti’s legacy is one of love and dedication to her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege to know her.

Pallbearers will be Jamey Parsons, John Ross Ashley, Johnny Neuville, Lance Scudday, Mike Duck, and Timothy Rosas.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made to Friends of Jefferson Animals.
