He was born on December 5, 1960, in Houston, Texas to Lesley Alex Hunter and Carolyn Louise Farmer Hunter and passed away surrounded by friends and family on February 17, 2025.

He is preceded in death by his father, Lesley Alex Hunter.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Janie "Von" Hunter; mother, Carolyn Hunter; children, Brandy Wood, Barry Tucker, Jessica Fierro, Casey Osborne; siblings, Troy Hunter and wife Lori, Celina Nelson and husband David; grandchildren, Ali Wood, Jace Wood, Kade Tucker, Tatum Tucker, Hunter Fierro with wife Ashley, Dayton Fierro, Garrett Osborne, Cayton Osborne; great grandson, Rohan Fierro.
