Roy Leon Marshall

Funeral Services for Roy L. Marshall, 86, of Jefferson, Texas will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 2pm in the Cpt. Wm. Perry Chapel of Haggard Funeral Home with Bro. John Givens officiating and under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home.  There will be a time of visitation from 1 to 2pm prior to the service. Due to the heat, the committal will occur in the chapel and there will be no graveside services.

Roy L. Marshall was born on January 12, 1937 in Wylie, Texas to Roy Leonard Marshall and Effie Faye Childress Marshall and passed away on July 7, 2023 in Texarkana, Texas. 

Roy was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Frances LaNell Marshall; daughter, Dayna Marshall; and brother, Hubert Marshall.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Danny Marshall and wife Donna and Kenneth Marshall; brother, James Marshall; grandchildren, Aaron Marshall, Timothy Marshall and wife Katie, Stefanie Marshall and significant other Taylor Hankins, and Jacob Marshall and wife Haily; great grandchildren, Kynlee Burkhalter, Kalynn Marshall, Grayson Marshall, Avery Marshall, Kase Marshall, and Lainey Marshall.  Roy is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Those serving as pallbearers will be Timothy Marshall, Jacob Marshall, Lonnie Locke, Mike Phillips, Jeff Brannon, and Chris Locke.
