Ruth Whatley Obituary

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Elaine Whatley, 94, of Jefferson will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday April 23, 2019 at McLeod Tabernacle UPC, McLeod, Texas with Pastor J.P. Story officiating under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Trinity Cemetery.

Mrs. Whatley was born February 22, 1925 in Dallas, TX. to William Ernest and Leola Sharp McAlexander, and passed away April 21, 2019 in Jefferson.

Mrs. Whatley was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 63 years, Roscoe Whatley and brother, Billy McAlexander.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Glenn Whatley & Dorothy, Gilbert Whatley & Nancy and Tommy Whatley & Frances, six grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, extended family and friends.
