A celebration of life for Sherman Edward Vail III, 69 of Jefferson, Texas will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022, from 12:00- 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church,11768 State Highway 49, Jefferson, Texas.
Mr. Vail was born August 18, 1953, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Sherman and Juanita Vail and died unexpectedly in his home in Jefferson, Texas on October 4, 2022.
Sherman loved to hunt, fish, and do anything outdoors, but most of all he loved to spend time with his friends and family.
Sherman was preceded in death by his parents, son Bryan Vail, and sister Judy Vail Baird.
Surviving is his loving wife, Brenda Vail of Jefferson, Texas; children, Christy Vail of Longview, Texas, Chris McCord, and Adam McCord both of Jefferson, Texas. Grandchildren; Madeline Halee Montes, Amanda Vail, Kolby Vail, Cody McCord, and Kenneth McCord. Great Grandchildren; Delilah (Baby Monster), Rosie (Baby Mouse), Aerial, Cody Jr., and Kaitlin. Siblings; David Vail of Longview, Texas, Suzanne Vail Long of Nashville, Tennessee, Pat Vail Williams of Carrolton, Georgia, and Tommy Vail of Oklahoma and numerous nieces and nephews.
