Funeral Services for Mrs. Shirley Eaton Robinson, 91, of Jefferson, Texas will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 10AM in the Cpt. Wm. Perry Chapel of Haggard Funeral Home with Grandson Bradley Ford officiating and interment to follow at Mims Chapel Cemetery.  A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 from 6-8PM in the Cpt. Wm. Perry Chapel of Haggard Funeral Home.

Mrs. Robinson was born on October 16,1929 in Rodessa, Louisiana to Dexter Eaton and Effie Durham Eaton and passed away in Longview, Texas on July 18, 2021.

Mrs. Robinson retired from the Marion County District Clerk’s Office.

Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. “Sonny” Robinson, her parents, and 5 siblings.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Nabors Underhill & husband John of Greenville, TX.; son, Jim Nabors of Conway, AR.; son, Jay Nabors & wife Kay of Glen Rose, TX.; sister, Dorothy Eaton Franks of Jefferson, TX. Jimmy Neal Eaton of Atlanta, TX; grandchildren, Justin Ford & wife Shaylee of Odessa, TX.; Clay Nabors of San Antonio, TX.; Bradley Ford & wife Deanna of Waco, TX.; Alan Nabors & wife Ashley of Hutto, TX.; Perla Rodriguez and husband Steven, and Alex Underhill Tapia & husband Victor of Dallas, TX.; and 7 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers Mrs. Robinson’s family has asked that donations be made to Mims Chapel United Methodist Church attention: Church Fund Donations,13597 FM 729, Avinger, TX. 75630

Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Ford, Clay Nabors, Bradley Ford, Alan Nabors, Victor Tapia and Dexter Childs.

Honorary pallbearers will be Alan Martinez, Rylan Ford and Micah Ford.
