Susan Robin (Harrell) Tullock

Funeral Services for Susan Robin Harrell Tullock, 60, of Jefferson, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 6, 2022, at the Jefferson Academy Seventh Day Adventist Church under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home of Jefferson, Texas.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at the Capt. Wm. Perry Chapel of Haggard Funeral Home.  Interment will be held following the funeral service at Berea Cemetery.

Susan Robin Harrell Tullock , 60, passed away February 1, 2022 in her home in Jefferson, Texas.

Robin was born on December 21, 1961 in Marshall, Tx. to William (Wimpy) and Juanita Greenhill Harrell.  She lived her entire life in the Berea Community where she attended Cypress Bend Adventist Elementary School and Jefferson Christian Academy and was a member of the Jefferson Academy Seventh-day Adventist Church. 

Robin met Robert (Robby) Tullock and they were married in Hawaii in June 1985.  They enjoyed over 40 years together.  They especially enjoyed spending time at the cabin and in nature. Together they had 2 sons, Aaron and Cody.  They later came to think of Jared Trabucco and Daniel Morgan as honorary sons.

In 1995 Robin began working at Jefferson Christian Academy as registrar and later as a teacher.  She filled in as vice principal, principal, class sponsor and wherever help was needed.  She worked there until the time of her passing as vice principal and registrar. She was a member of the Cypress Bend Elementary School Board. She served her church for many years, mostly in the children’s divisions.

Robin is survived by her husband Robby, her children Aaron (Heather) Tullock,  and Cody (Nayeli) Tullock, her four grandchildren Liliana, Venton, Iris and Arthur, and her sister Lori (Brian) Suber.

She was preceded in death by her parents. 

She will be remembered for her love of her children, grandchildren and family. She also had a great love and commitment to the academy and its students where she coined the phrase “Have a sparkling day”.   She had a beautiful smile and a kind accepting heart.  She had many cats, and continued to take in strays that came to her door. 

Serving as pall bearers are Daniel Morgan, Jared Trabucco, Thomas Gale, Travis Hellie, Colton Tullock, Willie Te’ekiu, and Pila Telefoni. 

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to be made to Jefferson Christian Academy, 3060 FM 728, Jefferson, Texas 75657.
