Tommy Joe Whatley, Sr

Graveside services for Tommy Joe Whatley, Sr. will be held at Trinity Cemetery in Jefferson, TX, Sunday March 24, 2024, at 2:00 pm with Pastor Mitch Stroda officiating under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home. A time of visitation will be held Saturday March 23, 2024, from 6-8pm in the Cpt. Wm. Perry Chapel of Haggard Funeral Home.

Mr. Whatley was born on June 19, 1951, in Atlanta, Texas to Roscoe Hansel Whatley and Ruth Elaine McAlexander Whatley and passed away on March 19, 2024, in Jefferson, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother; Glen Whatley; and grandson, Landon Martin.

Those left to cherish his memories are his beloved wife, Frances Marie Golden Whatley; children, T.J. Whatley, Felicia Colleen Keller and Philip; brother, Gilbert Whatley; grandchildren, Mason Martin, Olivia Keller, Cassie Keller, and Avery Keller. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended friends, and family.

Serving as pallbearers will be Richard Golden, Boyd Golden, Daniel Golden, Ralph Golden, Billy Golden, Steadman Prescott, and Mason Martin.
