Memorial services for Mrs. Wanda Ryberg, 80, of Orcas Island, WA are planned for 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at the Savannah Cemetery under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ryberg was born August 4, 1939 in Jefferson, TX to Fred and Jessie Whatley Bornman and passed away May 13, 2020 in Pleasant Hill, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Charles Bornman, and daughter Sharon Moller.
Mrs. Ryberg loved to quilt, cook and travel but most of all she loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed experimenting with the meals she cooked. She would tell her family to speak up if they didn’t like it, because they might get it again if they didn’t. She was famous for how well she cared for her dogs. One friend stating that “when I die, I want to come back as Wanda’s dog”. That same caring and love extended to everyone she knew. Her quilts are held dearly by her extended family and friends all over the world.
Mrs. Ryberg is survived by her sons James Ryberg & Brigitte of Concord, CA, Greg Ryberg & Rose of Sandpoint ID, and Brett Ryberg & Linda of Coeur d’Alene, ID, son-in-law Russell Moller, sister Lyda Duncan & David Clark of The Colony, TX., her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Always loved. Never forgotten. Forever missed.
